Just learned from this lively Slashdot discussion that the city I’m currently calling home is installing 75+ cameras around downtown Boston in preparation for the upcoming DNC. The exciting news? They’re leaving ‘em up after the show’s over. “We own them now,” said police Superintendent Robert Dunford. “We’re certainly not going to put them in a closet.”
