We had to say goodbye to the most wonderful cat ever on Monday. I held Gwen, Gwen held Tigs, and we said goodbye, and that’s really all I can write about it right now, except that I miss him, miss him, miss him!

After a five-day rollercoaster ride of failures and successes attempting to coax a brand-new hard drive into health long enough to get my prematurely-loaded personal data back off of it before it dies completely, I believe I have finally rounded the last turn and am now approaching some kind of final and happy resolution.

I was browsing our trouble ticket queue at work and came across this item in one case history:

Client would rather use Excel–she is not familiar with AppleWorks. We copied the file to the desktop and opened the file from within Excel. We were about to change how the data looked, when a bee started attacking the client. She had to hang up, but will call back.
